Admissions

Application materials for the 3-6 program are available September 1st for admission for the following Fall. The deadline for to submit applications is November 30th. Any applications postmarked after November 30th will be put on the waiting list. Children must be three years old by December 31st and toilet trained to be eligible for the program.

Admission materials for the Toddler Program are available January 1st for the following fall. The deadline for the Toddler Program application is February 28.

Admissions priority is given first to church members, followed by siblings of currently enrolled students and children of alumni. Individual or group observations and assessments are scheduled in January and February and acceptance letters are sent out in March. Children of all races and creeds are accepted; our student body is representative of the island community.

Parents are encouraged to tour the school to have a hands-on learning experience with the school. Please call the office to arrange a visit.

Financial Aid

Financial assistance is awarded on the basis of financial need through the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation and the Ruth McCraw/ Doris Rewick Scholarship Fund. Additional funds are available through the Central Union Church Preschool and Kindergarten endowment fund. The deadline for submitting scholarship forms is March 1st. Applications are processed by SSS Scholarship Financial Services and reviewed by the Preschool Committee Scholarship Committee.
